
Dr. Jorge
Pinero was born in Havana, Cuba. He graduated from Marquette University
School of Dentistry. In private practice since 1983, he emphasizes comprehensive
adult reconstructive dentistry and has established a hospital based
laser surgical practice. In addtion to clinical achievements, his practices
are recognized as models in the area of practice management and are among
the top 5 percent of practices in the U.S.
Dr. Pinero is a past Adjunct
Clinical Professor of Marquette School of Dentistry in the Department
of Diagnostic and Surgical Sciences. He has attended over 2500 hours
of continuing education in every aspect of dentistry and is a member of
many dental societies. Dr. Pinero has served on the Board of Directors
of the Wisconsin Academy of General Dentistry. He is the past Chief
of Dental Surgery at St. Lukes Medical Center, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where
he developed one of the first "Outpatient Dental Laser Surgery Centers"
in the United States. He is actively involved in research with cardiovascular
surgeons at St. Lukes investigating the role of periodontal disease in
cardiovascular disease. Dr. Pinero has developed the internationally
recognized P.P.S.P.™ protocol to efficiently treat the pre-open
heart surgery patient with zero rate of bacteremia.
Dr. Pinero actively lectures
nationally and internationally to medical and dental groups in the areas
of esthetic and restorative dentistry, laser dentistry, oral medicine,
practice management, TMJ disorders, occlusion, comprehensive diagnosis
and treatment planning. He has also authored many scientific articles
in leading dental journals and has appeared on multiple local and national
television, newspapers and radio interviews. In addition he has
trademarked and developed several methods of dental treatment in esthetic
and laser dentistry. Dr. Pinero holds in-office hands on seminars
on esthetic dentistry, laser dentistry and patient management.
